As a maker of objects, I admire the details of line and form that make a beautiful piece, but I believe that the essence of art is achieved when a piece drives the thoughts of the audience to transcend the physical object and extrapolate a deeper notion or unseen reality.

In the shapes of molecules and wood growth patterns, waterways, sound waves, and nebulae, there is action and composition. From these and so much more, I seek to reign in such dynamic movement in the service of function. To refine these gestures is the way in which I compliment our world.
