Condo Dinette
Plywood, dimensional Pine wood, stain
October 2019
A quick project for a friend with a new house. Contrasting two-tone with clean simple lines was the idea here, with fast and easy installation as a budget driver. The booth frame was CNC cut out of plywood with 2x4 studs as the source material for the trim and slats. A "tusked" tenon detail joint was employed for the table leg stretcher. Mitered corner details in the seat and arm rest resonate with the "ship lapped" looking pine ceiling. The seat slats have an ergonomic curve to them for comfort. All of the booth back panels can be removed to access the storage space within them.
