With increasing interest in architectural forms and modular construction, this project grew from structural and visual minimalist notions. The design process required detailed 3D modelling to precisely fabricate the smooth formal transitions and streamline the assembly.

The Steel Chaise Loung is made in two sections that align to form a smooth lounge surface and separate to make a chair and ottoman pair.
